Where does the food come from?

All ingredients have come from human grade food processing plants which have been inspected by Federal or Provincial agents.

Should I mix kibble with raw?

This is not recommended. The best way to transition to raw is to start cold turkey. If you have left over kibble that you don't want to waste, then feed one meal completely raw food and the other meal kibble until eventually you are feeding 100% raw.

Should I cook the raw?

We believe your dog will get the best possible nutrition from the feed just as it is. 
You may cook it if you wish, but it is not necessary.

How do I use it?

Most of our customers move a portion of the frozen food into a sealed container and put in the refrigerator in the evening. It is ready for feeding the next day. 
Please Note - Take extra care to keep the raw food away from human food and thoroughly wash your hands after handling the raw

What about Bacteria & Salmonella?

Dog's saliva has antibacterial properties; it contains lysozyme, and enzyme that lyses and destroys harmful bacteria. Their short digestive tract is designed to push through food and bacteria quickly without gibing bacteria time to colonize. The extremely acidic environment in the gut is also a good bacteria colonization deterrent.

How long will the product keep?

As long as the feed remains properly frozen, we believe the nutritional value remains unchanged for a few months.

We recommend not purchasing amounts that exceed 2 months supply to ensure your pet gets the freshest product possible.

Is my dog allergic to the raw?

If after switching to raw you are still experiencing, chronic ear inflammation, gastrointestinal problems, and chronic diarrhea to chronic gas, licking their feet, or an itchy rear end. There is a strong possibility your dog may be allergic to one of the proteins.

How much do I feed my dog?

You feed your dog based on their energy requirements. It will differ between breeds, age how active your dog is , and what their metabolism is like. The general rule of thumb is 2%-3% of their body weight for a starting point. (for an adult dog)
